Lloyd Koesling’s creation on the corner of Highway 36 and Margaret Street in North St. Paul is dubbed the world’s largest stucco snowman. It’s become the defacto symbol of North St. Paul and an icon in the Twin Cities.

Minneapolis artist Angela Carlson created this mosaic mural on the west side of the Peace House in Minneapolis. She covered the side of the two-story building with tiles and mirror pieces donated by the Minneapolis Glass Company and the Tile Shop with the help of her mother, Cindy Carlson, and members of the Peace House Community.

Larry Rostad painted this mural on the Trinity Lutheran Congregation’s office building in Minneapolis in 2005. The mural incorporates a number of Christian themes, including the disciples Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (and the respective animals that traditionally symbolize each), the act of communion, children and neighbors gathering together, and ancient Coptic murals of Ethiopia.
