Generation by Elizabeth Gleason Thompson is a 1979 sculpture that commemorates the hundreds of people buried at the free “potter’s field” of St. Anthony Township (now St. Anthony Village). While many of the tombstones have sunk into the ground, been removed or have crumbled away, this sculpture serves as enduring figure of the history of this acre of land.
