Hamline Avenue Bridge Mural by Unknown
This mural is painted on the east side of the Hamline Avenue Bridge as it rises over the Ayd Mill Road. It appears it was painted in 2003 by MartinJohn Heubach as a community project with the Snelling Hamline Community Council.
It’s a fun, joyful mural featuring childlike drawings of kids at play, a school bus and animals, but it’s also in disrepair.
There’s also a second, newer mural on the west side of the Hamline Avenue Bridge just south of Ayd Mill Road.

Hi There,
Sorry, not my art. The mural I did is on the opposite side of the bridge (between Laurel Ave. and Portland Ave.) Please correct this error. I can provide photos of my mural on request.
Thanks,
MJ

Sorry about that MJ. My online research didn’t work out so well. I’ve removed you as the artist and I’ll have to check out the mural that actually is yours.
So does anyone have any idea who did create this mural?
