Lamp Plants by Chank Diesel
Minneapolis artist Chank Diesel is a renowned font designer and is apparently working to best Picasso’s record of more than one million works of art. The “Lamp Plants” mural is #10,400 and is on the Creative Lighting store near Snelling and I-94. According to the “About the Artist” sign, this mural “features Chank’s signature yellow character running from St. Paul to Minneapolis through a field of bizarre bright flowers.”
Of all the murals that are somewhat commercial in nature, I think “Lamp Plants” for Creative Lighting has to be one of the most original and most fun.
