Scarbo by Jill Rivard
Jill Rivard’s massive “Scarbo” mural covers the entire side of the Schmitt Music Center in Minneapolis with the music from Maurice Ravel’s piano work “Gaspard de la Nuit.” Designed by Rivard and painted by the Nordquist Sign Company in 1972, it’s among the oldest surviving murals in the Twin Cities.
