Si Se Puede Mural by Victor Yepez
In 2006 artist Victor Yepez led a group of students from El Colegio Charter School in painting this mural across from the headquarters of Urban Ventures. The mural proclaims, “Si Se Puede: Together we can do it!” and showcases images of people coming together and supporting one another in the face of tragedy.
Though painted in 2006, one of the panels seems to foreshadow the 35W bridge collapse in 2007.
