Cedar Street Bus Shelter by Marcia McEachron
Local artist Marcia McEachron created this bus shelter on Cedar Street in downtown St. Paul in 1995. The shelter features painted steel sculptures of Minnesota images throughout the seasons, including flowers, fall leaves, a sledder, a canoeist and more. At first glance it seems a little bizarre, but on closer inspection they’re very common images and it has more of a folk art feel than anything overly artsy.
