This giant stone marks the location of the original Chapel of St. Paul, built in 1841, that would become the namesake of the city. The stone features three plaques, one with a bust of Father Lucien Galtier (who founded the chapel), one with an image of the log chapel and a third noting the 150th anniversary (in 1991).
