Muscle by Amy Toscani
Created in 2004 by Amy Toscani, “Muscle” is 26 feet tall, features a piece at the top that spins in the wind and the colors and shapes make for a playfully interactive sculpture. Or kind of weird, depending on how cynical you want to be.
“I thought about water towers, and how they’re a landmark in small towns,” Amy Toscani told Public Art St. Paul. “And I thought that an arch would let people interact with the sculpture by walking under and around it.”
