Pez Vela by Sebastian (Enrique Carbajal Gonzalez)
Mexican artist Sebastian (also known as Enrique Carbajal Gonzalez) created the sculpture “Pez Vela” (which means sailfish) which was given to the City of St. Paul by the City of Manzanillo, Mexico as a symbol of friendship in 2002. The sculpture sits on the edge of the Mississippi River in Lower Landing Park in St. Paul.
“Pez Vela” appears to be a smaller version of an enormous Sebastian sculpture in Manzanillo.
