This dragonfly-shaped sculpture is perched on the Lake Calhoun Executive Center and is known as the “Sailboard Sculpture.” The artist is unknown. And my pictures are terrible.

This was designed by Steve Peterson, an avid sailboarder who more recently did the lighting for the new Twin’s ballfield. It was built and installed by Design Stages (long gone) around 1990. I was the project lead and fabricated the metalwork. All of the bending was done by hand by me. The outline framing is 2″ square steel tube.
