Sculptor Michael Bigger created “Tsunami” in 2003. The piece literally reminds me of the destructive power of a tsunami. It captures the way massive pieces of debris are tossed around. The work is currently on display at the Bethesda Therapeutic Sculpture Garden (a few blocks north of the State Capitol in St. Paul), on loan from the artist and in partnership with Franconia Sculpture Park.

(Note: The Google satellite view doesn’t even show the Bethesda Therapeutic Sculpture Garden, but if use Street View you can get a nice glimpse of the park and sculptures.)
