Local sculptor Zoran Mojsilov created “Zoomorphy” for the East Lake Library in Minneapolis in 2007. The 26,000-pound sculpture sits in a rain garden next to the library, inviting the curious interaction of library visitors:

“Children react spontaneously and physically to my stone installations,” said Mojsilov. “Touching the stone, feeling its temperature changes and seeing it nestled in plantings creates a comfortable setting for families. Children can interact with the project while looking at it from inside the library (guessing what it is) or outside (sitting down and touching the contours of the stone).”
